We deliver meticulous care in our state-of-the-art hearing clinic in Harrogate, North Yorkshire. Our experienced audiologists have extensive training and all are qualified in fitting Lyric hearing aids.

" I’ve been in Harrogate since childhood and have made a life here with my husband and children. We love having the beautiful Stray, Valley Gardens and countryside so close by.
Outside of work you will often find me going for nice long walks in the sun, volunteering with my daughters Girlguiding, or with my nose in a book!
I started my career in the optical sector but swiftly moved into Audiology over 10 years ago with a foundation degree from De Montford University. I love seeing the huge impact on peoples lives I can have ranging from instant relief clearing a wax occlusion to improving hearing and communication solutions over time. I really enjoy the rehabilitation side to Audiology, delving into clients lifestyles to make sure I am finding the best solution to suit their needs, then supporting them on the use and aftercare. I have especially enjoyed being able to help my Grandma with hearing aids and assistive listening devices which has created such a special bond between us.
In my role as Clinical Educator, I love having a mixed week of clinical work, organising training sessions, and nurturing relationships with educational institutes looking to support the next generation of audiologists. I pride myself on excellent customer service and organisational skills. The Hearing Suite provides the ideal setting with beautiful relaxing clinics, friendly welcoming staff and access to the best equipment and leading manufacturers. Having access to our ENT consultant, Mr. Mace, is also reassuring.

"I'm from an Army family which moved around but we have been settled in Harrogate since I was 6 years old, so class myself as a local! I live with my husband and two little girls.
My main area of expertise is in the private sector. I have always enjoyed talking to people and love seeing the benefit improving hearing can have on quality of life. My Grandma-in-law is hard of hearing and she always looks to me to aid her in conversation - it has made a great bond between us.
I have been performing wax removal for 5 years now - I find it really satisfying; its great seeing the instant relief that can be provided.
In my spare time you will usually find me with my little girls, helping out with school events or reading.

" My first true passion in life was music - I originally moved down to Yorkshire from the Northeast to study music and sound design at university, but I have since brought some of that knowledge with me into the world of audiology, where I am passionate about helping people to live their lives in the most fulfilling way possible.
I have recently completed further training into the ways that we can use hearing aid technology to better help people with their ability to enjoy and perform music – this felt like a ‘full circle’ moment for me, and knowing how important music can be for so many people, I’m incredibly excited to pass on this care to our clients.
I have almost 10 years of experience as a qualified audiologist – by far my favourite part of the job is being able to see the difference that we make to people on a daily basis."

"I grew up in Ilkley and I loved studying science. For my 'gap' year abroad, I volunteered for Project Trust in Peru. Meeting Rocio, a little girl who was profoundly deaf, introduced me to the importance of communication. This prompted me to study Audiology at The University of Manchester, gaining a distinction in Clinical Practice. You can read the full story in Why I started The Hearing Suite.
I worked in the NHS, trialling different hearing devices, from neck loops to Bluetooth streamers. I was also involved in a project with the Ida Institute, a Danish organisation aiming to improve hearing loss management.
Moving to the private sector, I established a tinnitus clinic, developing realistic goals for client rehabilitation. In 2018 I launched The Hearing Suite here in beautiful Harrogate. I wanted to deliver healthcare in a welcoming, friendly environment that didn't feel clinical. As an independent audiologist practice, we work with all the hearing aid manufacturers and only offer top of the range solutions."

Taking the time to listen
We're here to help get your hearing back on track. So we take the time to understand your history, hopes and challenges. How is hearing loss impacting your life? What places and people do you want to hear more of? What kind of lifestyle do you have – sporty, cultural? This allows us to tailor the right solution for you.
Consistency of care
The audiologist you see will be your consistent point of contact. If you choose our comprehensive care package, they will carry out your annual hearing test, ear wax removal every three months and hearing aid reviews.
